Grace Royal Academy of Ballet
Class Schedule 2023-2024
Classes are taught in the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus and are presented in a positive, creative atmosphere by professional dance instructors who understand the intricacies of dance. Our goal is to offer age- and level-appropriate instruction to each student that will increase his or her skill and confidence.
Pre Ballet (Ages 3-4)
Pre Ballet is a wonderful introduction to the art of dance using creativity and expression through movement. Students will develop motor skills and coordination as well as attention and listening skills in a safe nurturing environment.
Monthly Tuition: $85 ; includes one 45-minutes a week.

Pink short sleeved leotard (Freed Chloe), pink skirt, short pink socks, leather full sole ballet shoes in pink.

Hair must be pulled back off the face and secured in a two buns.
Pre Primary (Ages 5-6)
Pre Primary continues on the principles learned in Pre Ballet and builds on basic movements, musicality, and proper classroom etiquette. These technique-based classes will not only prepare students for further dance training by building flexibility but also encourage group interaction and teamwork.
Monthly Tuition: $120; includes two 60-minute ballet classes a week.

short pink socks, leather full sole ballet shoes in pink.

Primary (Ages 6-7)
Primary expands on dance fundamentals, including body alignment, ballet vocabulary, and basic positions. Exercises emphasize proper placement of the body and students will be introduced to musicality and spatial awareness.
Monthly Tuition: $120; includes two 60-minute ballet classes a week.

Grade 1 (Age 7 and up)
Grade 1 classes continue the development of technique, vocabulary, flexibility, coordination, and confidence. Students build on dance fundamentals, including body alignment and basic positions.
Monthly Tuition: $180; includes three 60-minute ballet classes a week.

Grade 2
Grade 2 students enter a more structured class environment. Formal training of barre and center work will continue to strengthen the ballet basics learned in previous levels.

Grade 3
Grade 3 continues building on the repetition and reinforcement of Ballet 2 exercises. Formal training of barre and center work will continue to strengthen the ballet basics, stressing the development of strength in the legs and feet through exercises on half-toe.

Students continue to strengthen their ballet technique and develop a greater awareness of body movement. Pointe work is integrated into classes and will increase in complexity and difficulty as students progress.
